Anna’s Hummingbirds are a permanent resident along the western coast of North America, even spending winters in northern climates. Unlike most hummingbirds the male Anna’s hummingbird sings during courtship. The one that stays in my backyard loves to sit by my clothespins on a line we rigged up.
